This is a very old language of mine. The original idea was trying to artificially recreate English based on its vocabulary sources. You can find the original here.
It never got very fleshed out
Description
Shalts is a language created to try and replicate the English language. It follows the huge importation of Latin, Greek, and Germanic roots into one language. It was not to sound just like English, but rather be structurally similar and have a fluency of sounding like English to non-native English speakers. It did not work completely and became more like Dutch rather than English, but that means it was closer than Spanish or most conlangs. Anyway, this site is to help breed understanding of this language and spread its popularity.
